By participating in University Super League, all participants agree to the following Terms of Service. The League is organized by Team USL and is intended to foster a friendly, competitive, and safe environment for all participants.
1.1. Participation in the League is open to students of City University Of London
1.2. Participants must be at least 18 years old and be physically able to engage in competitive football matches.
1.3. Participants must register by the deadline specified by the Organizers. No unregistered individuals will be allowed to participate in the matches.
2.1. Teams must consist of 6 players, with 6 players on the field and 2 substitutes allowed.
2.2. All teams must submit a full roster during registration.
2.3. Participants can only play for one team during the duration of the League.
2.4. Team names, logos, and player conduct must adhere to the values of inclusivity and respect. Offensive or inappropriate team names will be rejected.
3.1. All matches will be governed by the USL team football rules .
3.2. Match schedules will be shared in advance. Teams must arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled match start time.
3.3. Teams unable to field the minimum required players by match time will forfeit the match.
3.4. Substitutions may be made according to the League’s substitution policy, which follows standard football substitution rules.
4.1. All players, team managers, and spectators must conduct themselves with respect towards other participants, referees, and League staff.
4.2. Unsportsmanlike behavior, violence, verbal abuse, and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. Violators may face disqualification from the League.
4.3. Referee decisions are final. Abuse or harassment of referees will result in immediate sanctions, including potential expulsion from the League.
5.1. Participation in the League is at each participant’s own risk. By registering, participants confirm they are physically fit to participate in football matches.
5.2. First aid will be available on-site for minor injuries. In case of serious injuries, participants will be referred to local medical services.
5.3. All participants are required to wear appropriate gear, including shin guards and football boots.
5.4. Any player under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be immediately disqualified and removed from the premises.
6.1. The Organizers will not be held responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during participation in the League.
6.2. Players are encouraged to arrange their own insurance if required.
7.1. Entry fees (if applicable) must be paid in full at the time of registration.
7.2. In the event that the League is canceled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be notified, and refunds will be processed as appropriate.
7.3. No refunds will be issued for team or player withdrawals once the League has commenced.
8.1. The Organizers reserve the right to disqualify or remove any player or team from the League if they fail to comply with these Terms of Service.
8.2. Repeated violations by a team may result in a ban from future tournaments.
9.1. Any disputes must be brought to the attention of the Organizers within 24 hours of the incident.
9.2. The Organizers will review disputes and make a final decision in the interest of fairness and sportsmanship.
10.1. The Organizers reserve the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes, and continued participation in the League constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11.1. By participating in the League, participants consent to the use of their likeness (photos, videos, etc.) for promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and other marketing materials.
11.2. Teams and participants may be featured in marketing campaigns related to the League and other university events.
